OUR MISSION
"To inspire, and nurture a vibrant generation of leaders through innovative education where every student can discover their gifts and passions, grounded in a foundation of faith, character, and service."
New Testament Academy is a Christian educational institution dedicated to academic excellence, strong moral values, and the development of future leaders grounded in faith and character. For 30 years, the Academy has served families throughout the United States Virgin Islands by providing a nurturing, structured, and purpose-driven learning environment where students are encouraged to “Strive for Excellence” in every area of life.
New Testament Academy was founded in August 1996 under the vision and leadership of Bishop Earl Harrison. The school was born out of a deep desire to create a healthy learning environment for both students and staff — one that would combine rigorous academics with strong Christian ethics and values. What began as a small school with five students, all girls, three staff members, and the President has, by the grace of God, grown into a respected educational institution that has impacted generations of Virgin Islands families.
Since its founding, NTA has remained committed to educating the whole child — intellectually, spiritually, socially, and emotionally.
The Academy believes that true education extends beyond textbooks and test scores. Students are taught how to lead with integrity, serve with compassion, and walk confidently in purpose.
Over the years, New Testament Academy has earned a reputation throughout the Territory for its high standards, disciplined learning environment, and commitment to student success. The school places strong emphasis on foundational academic skills, leadership development, character formation, and individualized support that allows students to grow with confidence and excellence.
What sets New Testament Academy apart from many schools in the Territory is its unique balance of rigorous academics and Christian principles. At NTA, faith is not separate from education — it is woven into the culture, values, and daily experiences of the school community. Students are encouraged to develop not only strong minds, but also strong character, compassion, responsibility, and respect for others.
