NTA was blessed by Rudel Hodge, Jr, Esquire and alumnus, who inspired our 4th through 8th grade students with knowledge and understanding concerning VI patriotism. Our students learned about Virgin Islands history, the role we play as individuals to take care of and support our Territory by way of service, civic responsibilities, and how governance in the Territory works. New Testament Academy partners with VI Department of Education honoring the heroes of the Virgin Islands who fought for our rights to exist as free citizens in the Territory. Because of their courage, generations of Virgin Islanders took bold steps to ensure that our future would not look like our past.
For this reason, we share in this commemoration: Fireburn 2026- Revolt, Representation and Remembrance-October 1, 1878.
Educating our students to know who they are and the power they have within to conquer any mountain, is how we prepare the next generation of Virgin Island leaders.
